Stephanie Shipe

Group Exercise/Personal Training Coordinator

Stephanie has been in the fitness industry since shortly after the Civil War ended,
enduring the era of thongs, slouchy socks, and headbands. She is an ACE/ISSA/SCW/AFSA Certified Personal Trainer, as well as an ACE/SCW
Certified Group Exercise Instructor.
In addition, Stephanie holds certifications as a Life Coach, Yoga Instructor, Nutrition Specialist, Spin/Cycle, Barre, and TRX just to name a few.
She is a firm believer in not teaching a format until she has been certified and/or trained in it.
Stephanie’s approach to fitness is multi-faceted. Of course, her number one priority is safety, and believes that education is the key to maintaining this standard; she attends numerous fitness conferences throughout the year, and has over 1,5000 hours of
Continuing Education through the course of her career. She also is a firm believer that exercise should be FUN! Yes, working out is a challenge,
but it shouldn’t be a grind – it should be something you look forward to. If you don’t, you need to reevaluate what you’re doing.
